We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone that gave us a present for our engagement.

Notes of our appreciation have been popped in the post but seeing as I have sent them from France and the fact that there is a postal strike in the UK means that they might take a while to land on each doormat!

Engagement Party

I couldn’t begin this post without saying an enormous thank you to Mum and Dad for organising and hosting the celebration of our engagement this weekend. It was lovely to see such a large number of our family and friends together and we both had an amazing time. There were also a number of helpers that we would like to thank including Grace, Henry, Marian, Kath & Witty.

We both appreciate the effort that was made by everybody in order to come to the party and so another thank you to all that came to truly make it the success that it was.

I have posted the photos that I have from the party into an album on the Photos page and would love anyone else that has photos to add them by emailing them to uswiggyandsprout.guests@picasaweb.com If you put “Engagement Party” in the subject then they will be added to the same album.

Upcoming Engagement Party

In 10 days, Mum and Dad will be hosting a party to celebrate our Engagement. We are looking forward to seeing (and meeting in some cases) all of our family and friends that can make it.

Chris will have finished working on Gaia by this time and will be taking some well deserved time out. I will be back for 4 days (from late Thursday to Monday afternoon) before flying back to Nice and rejoining Perla Blu.

By the end of the weekend we might (fingers crossed) have a venue booked and a date set!
